The IDEA Office is actively focused on creating a campus community that is respectful of all identities. Through an intersectional lens, we strive to advance Butte College’s efforts to embed equity, diversity and inclusion as a transformational force in all of our practices. We will achieve our mission by collaborating with on and off campus stakeholders to provide a learning experience that is diverse, inclusive and equitable.
Vision Statement
The IDEA Office seeks to establish an intentionally vibrant and engaging learning environment where all members of campus feel affirmed, respected, connected, and valued. Equity, Diversity and inclusion are recognized as core institutional values that drive decision-making, resource allocation, and the development of all policies and practices.
